Crémon Cursed Dungeons: Broken Beliefs
Crémon are being attacked by these... shadowy Crémon-like creatures. They have the appearance of Crémon. But they're nightmareish. They kill anyone they see. Young, old, weak, strong. Doesn't matter to them. They'll kill.
A group of Crémon that has formed a resistance had risen up to try and stop these odd creatures and save the world. A group of young Crémon wish to join and help in saving the world. Will they be able to save it from the shadowy creatures that kill without mercy?

- Crémon Info:
- This one is of my thing that I call Crémon. What's that you might ask? Well, it's like a love child of Pokémon and Digimon. I took inspiration from both of them to make Crémon. Let me give you the basic run down of it.
They have types and powers like Pokémon and Digimon do, though I'm tweak some of them to work differently than how they normally do. Or some that make no sense. Like Hurricane or Hypnosis. Or something else. XD.
Like Digimon and Pokémon, Crémon can evolve. But the evolution isn't going to last forever like Pokémon. They can evolve and de-evolve back to a past form whenever they want to. Though most stay in the form they like best or fits them the most. Say your Pikachu, if it was a Crémon, became a Raichu without you wanting it to, you could change it back to a Pikachu. Even back to a Pichu if you wanted to go back that far.
Crémon can also have up to three types of typing. Such as Electric/Dark/Flying, just so long as it doesn't over power them. But it'll have weaknesses too, so I'm sure that it won't. I hope not anyway. But who knows?
As stated before, they can de-evolve back into past forms or evolve into future forms whenever they want to. But they must evolve fully once before being able to change back. They can also be any color you want. They're not just one common color like Pikachu all being yellow unless shiny or whatever.
Unlike with Pokémon and Digimon, there's no humans in Crémon. So yeah, it's like Pokémon Mystery Dungeon in a way. I might make an AU or spin-off series where there are humans to see were that goes. But who knows. We'll see in do time.
That's all I really got for this right now. I'm still working on it. But a lot of people seem to like it, so that's good? And I hope you all on here like it as well! And if you say that this is a rip off of Pokémon and Digimon, then so be it. That's fine if you want to think that. More power to you. You're allowed to think what you wish. But don't voice it in the comments and be rude about it. Keep it to yourself. No one wants drama okay? Thanks.
Also, I'd like you to forgive the Pokémon pictures that I have to use for Keme and Zuso for right now. I don't have a picture of what Keme and Zuso look like as Crémon yet, so this is just until I get one for my little Denachu and Dlox. The coloring on the Pikachu and Eevee are the same for my mouse and fox, so I hope that paints a good picture for them. I hate not having covers for stories or pictures for characters if I can help it. It looks so weird to me. So please, don't bring up how there's a Pokémon picture there when this has nothing to do with it. It's just until I can get a picture that fits my species and story more. Okay?
Another thing, this Roleplay might not be for the faint of heart. While things will start off on a more... light-hearted nature, later chapters will be dueling with a lot more darker themes. Such as gore, death, murder, and things of that nature. You have been warned a head of time.
Fun fact: Crémon was originally called Animon, which meant Animal Monsters. But someone else already used the name so I changed it in fear of getting bitched for 'stealing'. Also, how you say Crémon is Cré like from the word creature. You know how the cre sound in it? Yeah, like that then mon. XD.

Name: Keme
Age: 10
Gender: Male
Species: Denachu
Appearance:
Attacks: ThunderBlast, Metal Tail, Volt Charge, Swift Attack, Shadow Tail, Shadow Claw, Shadow Thunder, Electro Orb
Personality: He is a kind-hearted Denachu. Keme is a bit shy and timid most of the time, mostly around new people, or in a large group. However, if someone is in need of help, he'll go and help them. This some times gets him into trouble and enemies can use this to get what they want from the the little mouse, so he must be careful. He tries to stay calm and level-headed, but he tends to become nervous if he feels he's being pressured into something. He can't bring himself to kill others and large amounts of blood frighten him. The little Denachu will jump in to protect his friends if they're in danger. He will fight, even to the death if he must, to protect them.
History: Keme grew up in the forest that was filled with that of the Denachu family. He lived there with his mother, father, and older sister. Everything was going well for the little mouse. He was often picked on and teased on a lot by others in his village, but Voltra, his sister, would often step in and protect him. One day, he and his family were forced to move from their home. The little mouse had no idea why, but he went along anyway. He and his friend, a Dlox named Eva, traveled together along with the families and other members in their city.
It wasn't long before chaos stuck. He and his friend, along with the others, were attacked by mysterious, shadowy, Crémon. In his attempt to escape, he ended up falling down the mountain side into a valley. He lived to see another day somehow. He met Zuso, another Dlox, and he felt a stab of sadness wash over him as he thought of Eva. The two became friends and joined the resistance teams together, wishing to stop the creatures called Cursed Ones.
Other: He's an Electric/Dark-type. He'll speak in orange.
Name: Zuso
Age: 10
Gender: Male
Species: Dlox
Appearance:
Attacks: Dig, Swift Attack, Shadow Sphere, Metal Tail, Charge, Shadow Ball, Attract, Take Down, Shadow Blast, Dark Bolt
Personality: Zuso is a nice little vulpine. He likes to help others and befriend anyone that he can. He's rather shy and unsure at times, but he's working on trying to overcome that. He looks up to Keme, despite being the older one by a few months, for still being so brave and kind after all that happened to him. He has many fears that he keeps to himself. Or he tries to anyway. He has a big heart and wishes to do all that he can to protect what he believes in. He's a determined little fox and will fight for his friends with his life if he needs to. He thinks of himself as being weak and not strong, but Keme often tells him that he's brave. He hopes he can actually do that.
History: The little fox grew up in a valley with his family. He lived an okay life there. He played with others, enjoying himself, having fun. He had no idea of the horrors the world was facing. One day, while he was out playing, he found an orange colored Denachu at the base of the valley. At first he thought the mouse was dead. But he wasn't. He took the other male back home where he and his family helped nurse him back to health. After that, he learned of the dangers of the world and wanted to try and put a stop to them, as scary as it was. From there, he and Keme went to join the resistance teams together.
Other: He's a Normal/Dark-type. He'll speak in white.

Re: Crémon Cursed Dungeons: Broken Beliefs
Name: Kera
Gender: Female
Age: Unknown
Species: Akumaneko
Appearance: The one on the left. The one on the right is the evolved form.
Personality: Kera is confident in herself to the point of being overconfident. She thinks of herself as "an invincible god" for reasons unknown other than to herself. She can be cruel and deceitful, usually taunting Keme and trying to make the younger feline doubt himself and his ability to protect his fellow teammates. She can easily spin a web of lies and make them sound believable.
History: This evil kitty lived a normal-ish life. To start out with. Sadly, she died not long after her creation due to complications with her heart. Kera found herself waking up sometime later in some unknown place. Her soul and mind, merged with Keme when the mouse stumbled upon the place she was buried at. She was hoping that maybe she could be revived with his help. It worked but the mouse still controlled the body since she was still weak. As time passed, the feline grew strong enough to be able to communicate with her host in his mind. Slowly but surely, Kera was regaining her previous powers.
Other: Currently, Kera can temporarily render Keme unconscious by dragging his spirit into his own little corner of the younger male's mind and she can allow the younger Cremon access to some of his dark power to increase her host's power in battle. The last ability is for emergencies and is only used for his Dark Thunder attack. Dark/Fire-type. She'll speak in Bold.

Re: Crémon Cursed Dungeons: Broken Beliefs
Name: Cherry
Age: 11
Gender: Female
Species: ...Not sure what to call her species >->
Appearance: Normal Version: Cherry looks like a red cat, but with a small pair of angel wings growing out of her back. Her eyes are also blue.
Evolved Form: In this form, the wings are now larger, and she now has a black stripe running down her head. Her fur is also longer, and one of her eyes is now orange. (Her left eye)
Attacks: Swift Attack, Take Down, Attract, Metal Tail, {{can we make our own moves because i want to use at least one fire-type move for her but i don't see any}}
Personality: Normal Version: Cherry is very sweet and hyperactive. Perhaps just a bit too hyperactive. She is known to annoy nearly everyone she sees by jumping in their faces. Though recently, she hasn't been doing that lately.
Evolved Version: She mostly retains the personality she had in her normal form, but is now more determined and willing to fight. She is also slightly less hyperactive. Cherry now is completely sure of herself as well.
History: Cherry, before the events of this roleplay, lived a fairly normal life in a small hole with her litter mates. She always had fun scaring others that got in her way, even her siblings. One day, though, a mysterious storm hit where she lived, and her hole got flooded. That was the last thing she remembered before falling unconscious and waking up in an unfamiliar place. She looked everywhere for her siblings, but they were nowhere to be found. Eventually, she found out that she was swept away from her home and that it was ruined. She is now seeking a new place to live because of that.
Other: She's Fire/Flying type. Also speaks in Bold Red.

Re: Crémon Cursed Dungeons: Broken Beliefs
(Alright, then let us begin!)
There was a great mountain in the distance that overshadowed the vast land for miles with no end in sight. A mountain, that despite its great fertility, no one chose to live on it. It one section of the land near the mountain were multiple paths carved by the endless amount of travelers that came through there. Each one waved through the flat lands the stretched in various directions. One of these particular paths winded along the cliffs that overlooked a deep valley that just barely managed to escape the shadow of the tall mountain. This particular trail was one of the less traveled ones but one wouldn’t think that at the moment.
Many Crémon, hundreds perhaps, were trekking on this very path with bags strapped on them. There were a wide variety of Crémon walking among one another, all that were vastly different from one another. It ranged anywhere from the tiny creatures that along the road to the mighty bulk of larger Cremon, who had to take extra care not to crush the smaller Crémon crowded around them.
Yet despite all the differences between the travelers, all managed to get along with one another. Even the rivals of different Clans that were walking by each other’s side were quarreling with each other as they most often did. All eyes were fixed forward in the direction opposite of the mountain while they chatted among one another. Despite the weary looks upon many of the faces, none ceases walking.
Everyone pressed on.
That is, except for one.
On the edge of the cliffs were the ground was stable, stood a small Crémon; a little Denachu. His fur was covered dark orange. Dark as night ear tips, the same as two stripes on his back that were shaped like bolts of lightning, and two bright electric colored cheeks on his face. Pale colored lightning bolts lined his bolt and a lightning bolt-shaped tail was behind him. At the base of it was even smaller marks of bolts to show that he was an Electric-type. He looked out towards that very mountain, Emerald Mountain as it was called by the locals, with a longing expression.
The mountain was an ominous black that seemed to be moving like a water current moving downward to the land below. At the peak was a swirling mesh of gray and white that extended far into the sky. It the middle of his hurricane-like cloud was a black spot that appeared small from where the Crémon stood, but the mouse knew that it was actually quite monstrous in size. The dark hole in that strange weather formation was continually pouring a type of black rain over the mountain that was flowing down it.
“Hey, you okay?” a voice asked from behind the Denachu.
The rodent cringed a bit from the sudden voice alter being so focused on the mountain, but he quickly recovered before turning his head slightly to see who was behind him. It was a Dlox staring at him with a worried expression. The Denachu sighed in relief since he knew this fox was his friend that he had known since he was a hatchling.
“Yeah, I’m fine, Eva,” the mouse said calmly before looking back at the mountain.
The vulpine went over and stood beside her friend before sitting down with him. They both looked out towards the shadowed landmark that towered over them. It was slowly growing darker thanks to the ‘rain’ that grew heavier from what they could tell.
“What do you think it is?” Eva asked her friend curiously, referring to the substance overtaking the mountain.
“I’m not really sure honestly,” he answered with a shrug. “I’ve never seen anything like it. And it doesn’t help that no one with us will explain anything.”
“Maybe they don’t even know what it is.”
“No, they know something,” the male replied with a glare as he peered towards the mountain. “They just don’t want anyone else to know. But what could it be…”
“I’m just as clueless as you are,” the Dlox answered, looking towards the darkened towering mountain. “Who knows what the reason could be? Maybe it’s best we don’t know.”
“Anyway, where do you think we’re going now?”
“I heard we were going to Aurora Town actually,” Eva stated. “It’s the closest town to here that isn’t by Emerald Mountain. I just hope that they can fit us all there.”
“I’m sure they’ll manage.” The Denachu shrugged his shoulders at the thought. “The town is supposed to be pretty big. I heard it was twice as big as our city. There’ll be enough room for us I’m sure.”
The two grew silent after that, staring outwards. And that was when the mouse noticed something. There were no longer the sounds of Crémon talking or their footsteps treading against the rocky ground. The Denachu looked back at his friend to find that she had her back to him and was facing toward the trail they had just come from.
“What’s the matter?” he asked, looking he looked over the trail as well to find nothing there.
Eva didn’t answer.
He looked upon the other Crémon that were traveling along to find that they too were staring in the direction of the trail behind them. In each of their eyes there was a strange expression of horror and curiosity, though the former was especially apparent.
Everything seemed to be completely silent.
So silent, that one could hear a pin drop.
Nobody moved for a long time as the wind seemed to stir up a bit.
And then there was a sound.
It was the sound of something whispering.
Whispers that muttered things that no one could understand.
It was started to grow louder.
The Denachu began to tug at Eva’s tail to get her out of the trance that she had seemingly fallen into along with the others.
The noise grew even louder.
“Come on Eva! We need to move!”
Crémon started to flee as the sounds of something burning began to fill the air. Yet, there was neither fire nor smoke to be seen. They rushed up the trail, the only direction they could go to get away from the noise. No one knew what they were hearing, but the instinct of fleeing was heavily drowning out their other thoughts.
No one could take the time to ponder in this situation.
And then a new noise came.
“SKKREEEE!”
Knowing there was no other choice, the Denachu bit down on the fox’s tail as hard as he could, instantly snapping the Dlox back into reality. Eva turned around to face her friend, fear brimming in her ears and lower lip quivering.
“RUN!” the mouse shouted as he shoved his friend into the crowd of terrorized and fleeing Cremon.
The vulpine managed to get running in time with the group despite the sudden push into it thankfully. The Denachu quickly tried to join the stampede in a effort to escape whatever was coming towards them with a panicky look in his eyes.
Something about whatever was coming towards them didn’t feel natural.
But before the mouse could enter the group, a wispy black creature swooped right in front of him.
He jumped backwards from the sudden appearance of the strange creature. He nearly fell back, but he somehow managed to keep his foot holding.
The mouse watched in horror as he found even more creatures of similar appearance joined in behind this new creature and slowly started to swarm in towards the fleeing group.
Each creature had a different coloring scheme to their bodies as if each were a different kind of creature rather than a large legion of one kind.
Even as they swarmed together in a giant storm, it was easy to see the individual creatures.
All, however, carried one save characteristic.
Their eyes.
Where the eyes should have been on each creature, there was a light.
A bright, candle-like light that glowed in each creature’s eyes. They shined so brightly as if an actual flame were behind them and seemed to flow out of the creature’s eye sockets.
Just as he noticed this, the dense haze that trailed out of each of the creatures began to fill the air. Various colors of haze slowly impaired the vision of the trapped Crémon.
The Denachu was cut off from the others by the thick haze as he heard the shrieking of the ghostly creatures. He watched from the other side of the fog as the phantoms kept the Crémon in line by circling around while a few others were dive into the crowd.
There had to be hundreds of these creatures, all smiling evilly as the trapped Crémon screamed in terror.
The mist-like wall separating him from the others was getting thicker, but he could still see what was happen to the Crémon, if only vaguely.
They were trying to escape from their captors, but they couldn’t see where they were going. Several Crémon crashed into one another, knocking each other drop and tripping over one another. It was a mad fest within the closed bounds of these ghosts.
Everyone’s screams mixed with the childish, eerie laughter that came from the smoky ones.
The haze became darker as the creatures began closing in on their prey. The darkness soon became an impenetrable barrier that closed around everybody. The Denachu could no longer see the other side, but he could hear the screams and wails that resulted from the others. He could only imagine what was happen on the other side of the barrier, but even then, it was probably much less gruesome than reality.
He started to back away from the thick wall of haze in front of him.
He had to find a way out.
But there was none.
The cliff was the only safe place.
The Denachu wanted to huddle up and pretend that none of this was happening.
Floating about three inches from where the mouse, was one of those ghostly creatures, staring at him intently with the hellish lights that were its eyes. The Denachu jumped backwards, nearly falling off the cliff.
However, he managed to stay on the land and watched as the creature continued to gaze at him. Despite having a smoky haze oozing from its body, the creature did have a definite shape that seemed solid, which seemed odd since they moved so fluidly as if it were made of gas. It was a four legged creature. It had dark brown pointy ears that matched the color of the rest of the body. A bushy tail wagged slowly from behind. A fluffy collar of fur hung around its neck.
The creature….
It looked just like a Dlox. Granted it was hard to tell that it was one with many of its features changed, but it was a Dlox if he ever saw one.
The ears, the tail, the collar were all notable biology of the vulpine that no other Crémon had.
The Denachu took a step backward once he reached his epiphany.
A couple more of those odd Cremon-like creatures landed on both side of the Dlox-like one, those ones having the vague appearance of a Voltchu and a Kimantis.
Just like the Dlox, their forms were wispier and no part of their body seemed to be made of flesh anymore.
Their unnatural eyes gazed towards the Denachu, as they seemed to glow brighter.
“Get away from me!” he shrieked as he found himself frozen in place at the edge of the cliff, unable to back further.
They all leapt at him at once with hungry looks in their eyes.
The Kimantis' bladed arms were held in a scissor formation.
The Voltchu’s paws were held out to show deadly claws.
The Dlox's mouth was wide open to show the numerous fangs that weren't normally in the fox’s mouth.
The mouse cringed and took a step backwards.
The cliff beneath his feet suddenly crumbled, falling apart from under him.
Before he knew it, he was tumbling downward into the valley.
As he plummeted towards the bottom, the Denachu saw the three ghostly Crémon watching her from the cliffs.
They didn’t bother to go after him even though they could very well catch him.
They felt it was a waste of effort. He was going to die in just a matter of time. They backed away from the cliff before joining again with their kind. They all stood quietly on the trail that was now vacant of regular Crémon.
Not a trace of anyone who had been crossing was found. It was though they had been wiped clean off the face of the land by these phantoms.
The three looked into the eyes of a creature that resembled a dragon looking creature for a few seconds, their eyes flickering.
Seeing this, the dragon nodded in response.
“EEERAAH!”
It let out a might roar as it took off to the skies with a quick flap of its wings and headed off towards Emerald Mountain.
All of the others swiftly followed suit until there was not a single one left.
Unknown to them, the little Denachu they had so carelessly let fall down the cliff had made it through the fall. Though very hurt, battered, and bruised, the small mouse was alive. Before his eyes closed, he saw black paws and a Crémon looming over him, before darkness greeted him.
(Pretty sure this is the longest thing I've ever written in my life. XD.)
XD.)

Re: Crémon Cursed Dungeons: Broken Beliefs
{{that is super wordy right there}}
Cherry swooped down from where she was hiding and saw the creepy shadow figures.
"What the... It's those shadow things I had heard about!" the TenshiNeko told herself. She then flew down and saw a Denachu looking quite helpless and perhaps getting swarmed over by a lot of the shadow creatures.

(Haha, whoops? XD.)
The Denachu had no idea the cat was watching over what had happened. If he had, he would have called out for help, hoping the feline would aid him in his time of need. But because he was clueless, he didn't.
It was sometime later before the little mouse awoke again. His whole body was sore and he cringed as pain spiked through his tiny form. He shakily pushed himself to his paws, glancing around, a bit confused. What had happened? Where was he now? It didn't take long for the events to rush back over him, causing Keme to let out a gasp.
Everyone was gone. His family. His friends. His home. All of it was gone. He was all alone now. His ears lowered as despair crept over him. His head shot up when he heard the sound of pawsteps coming towards him. His orange fur rose, standing on end and sparks danced around his body. He was injured and weak, but that wasn't going to stop him from trying to attack whoever it was that was coming towards him.
He hoped it wasn't any of those horrible creatures that had attacked him. Those glowing candle-like eyes were burnt forever in his head. The screams of the others as they were killed, the look of fear and horror on their faces...
The childish laughter the things that looked like Crémon gave off. It was enough to make him drop his defense and move back away from whoever was on their way towards him, lost in his own self-doubt and misery.
"I'm sorry, Eva..." he whispered. He couldn't protect the little fox. He couldn't help anyone and now they were gone. "I'm so sorry.."

Re: Crémon Cursed Dungeons: Broken Beliefs
"What is going on-" Cherry started to say, then started attacking these shadow things.
Most of them fell within a couple hits, but there was one that just couldn't be beat, no matter what. At least Cherry managed to distract it while she ran over to where a Denachu was, clearly scared and alone. "Don't worry. I got your back." she told the poor thing. She then raced back to where the strong creature was. She then resumed her fight with it. But the shadow creature was just confused as to what exactly had happened.

Re: Crémon Cursed Dungeons: Broken Beliefs
Keme looked up when he heard the voice. At first, the little mouse panicked, thinking she was one of those were looking creatures. But he soon realized that the red-furred she-cat was a normal Crémon like he was. The Denachu watched as the Tenshineko fight off the weird looking Crémon.
He felt a stab of pity for the feline. She was fighting them all by herself. He couldn't just sit here and watch her battle them all on her own. It was only a matter of time before they did whatever to her like they did to Eva, his family, his friends, everyone else in the village.
The mouse pushed himself to his paws and raced towards the Tenshineko and the shadowy creature. The beast looked like a mole. It had vibrant fur, powerful legs and enlarged ears. On its paws were sharp claws that helped the Normal-type dig under the ground. Upon reaching the two, Keme let out a powerful electricity attack, causing the Normole to let out a spine-chilling screech, before it disappeared.

Re: Crémon Cursed Dungeons: Broken Beliefs
"Huh...?" Cherry said as she saw Keme go after the shadow creature and Saw it die a bloody and loud death. She went up and looked at the place where it formerly was.
Whatever was there earlier, it was gone now. "So they just disappear when they die..." she said.
Then she looked at Keme and said "...Thanks. My name's Cherry, and I have been hunting these things down for the past week." ...That was probably a good enough introduction.

Re: Crémon Cursed Dungeons: Broken Beliefs
The Denachu moved back when he heard the loud screech the Normole looking creature gave off as it just... disappeared into thin air. His ears folded back against his skull at the loudness, before he watched silently as the cat made her way over to look at where it had been a mere few moments ago.
Keme rubbed one arm with a paw, giving the she-cat a small smile. "My name's Keme," the mouse answered the female. "...You've been hunting them? There's more of things creatures?"

Re: Crémon Cursed Dungeons: Broken Beliefs
"Yeah... I've seen a lot more of the things. Those weren't the only ones..." Cherry replied to Keme.
There were probably a lot more than just these shadow creatures. Maybe. But Cherry seemed to take all of this seriously... Unlike some others.
She quickly disappeared into a nearby cave.

Re: Crémon Cursed Dungeons: Broken Beliefs
There were more then just what he saw tonight? But there had to be at least millions of these shadowy creatures! There was enough to at least get rid of his whole town. However, before he could ask her anything further on the matter, Cherry had darted off into a cave that was close by, leaving the Denachu to stare after her in confusion.

Re: Crémon Cursed Dungeons: Broken Beliefs
"I'm in here! I saw several more of these things in here!" Cherry called as she fought off a couple more things inside of the cave.
She managed to dispatch a bunch of them with at least 3 "Swift Attacks". Another one was no match for her "Flame Burst".
All of these creatures were of no match to Cherry. All of them... Except for that really big one in the corner...

Re: Crémon Cursed Dungeons: Broken Beliefs
There was more in the cave? Swallowing back the overwhelming fear that threatened to rise up, Keme made his way over to the cave. He saw Cherry taking care of the creatures that were inside. He watched as she darted forward with Swift Attacks, ramming into them as she did. And even Flame Bursts. They were taken care of easily. All but a really big one in the corner.
He made his way into the cave to held her his help. The last one would be tricky for just one to fight all alone. And he didn't want her to meet the same fate as everyone else he was with had. His tail lit up with a bright glow as he sprang into the air and swung the now metal turned tail at the large beast that was in the corner.
